Seminal rockabilly musician Wanda Jackson—deemed the “Queen of Rockabilly” by her peers, fans, critics and, well, mostly everyone—shook up the airwaves last night with a thrilling performance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Jackson played “Shakin All Over,” a selection from her upcoming album, The Party Ain’t Over, due Jan. 25 on Jack White‘s Third Man label. The White Stripes/Dead Weather frontman, who also produced the record, joined Jackson and her backing band on Letterman’s stage last night as lead guitarist.
