Bruce Springsteen
Yesterday afternoon at a campaign rally in Parma, OH for President Barack Obama, Bruce Springsteen made a special appearance and played a seven-song acoustic set for the crowd. Introduced by former President Bill Clinton The Boss performed versions of “No Surrender,” “Thunder Road,” and Woodie Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land.” Also included in was a “rally song” written at the request of President Obama. Admitting that “Obama” is difficult to rhyme, Springsteen said the call-and-response tune is based around the campaign slogan “Forward.” You can click below to watch footage from the entire set.
