Watch Chris Pratt + Dinosaurs + a Volcano in the First “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Trailer
Sequel Due Out June 22, 2018 via Universal
Dec 07, 2017 Bryce Dallas Howard
2015’s Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World was a monster hit, making $1.67 billion worldwide, making it the fourth highest grossing film of all time globally. The follow-up, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, is due out June 22, 2018 via Universal and now the first trailer has been shared.
Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are back and are joined by Jeff Goldblum, reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from 1993’s Jurassic Park and 1997’s Lost World: Jurassic Park sequel. In the trailer, it seems as though Owen Grady (Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Howard) return to the island to rescue some of the dinosaurs from an exploding volcano. Cue lots of running away from both dinosaurs and falling lava. Of course, would anyone really be dumb enough to go back to an island full of dangerous dinosaurs with an erupting volcano? I guess we’ll find out next June. Watch the trailer below.
Jurassic World writer/director Colin Trevorrow co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly. Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible, A Monster Calls) is the director this time. B.D. Wong returns from the last film and the cast also includes James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, Justice Smith, and Toby Jones.

Of course we now know that most dinosaurs had feathers, so…. oops! Time to go back and redo all their critters.
