Watch: Crystal Castles - “Plague” Video
Also Reveal Tracklist to (III)
Oct 09, 2012
Crystal Castles
First thing’s first: the music video for Crystal Castles’ track “Plague” is downright creepy. Directed by Ivan Grbin all it does is follow a woman in a blue dress as she completely loses it a subway pedestrian tunnel. As though being possessed by some demonic force she flails about looking absolutely insane, at one point completely destroying the contents of her grocery bag. Combined with the scuzzy audio of the song, the whole thing feels wrong to subject on the online community first thing in the morning. One can only hope some random bystander didn’t stumble upon its filming. It would have really freaked them out.
