Before Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer - a.k.a. The Lonely Island - got their big break with their digital shorts on Saturday Night Live, the three childhood friends were making all kinds of comedy skits and videos for their own amusement. One of their earliest recurring creations were the Just 2 Guyz, a pair of awkwardly rapping friends that exspoused their views on a particular topic while regularly sneaking in a brutal cut down of their third friend Steve. Featured on the trio’s latest LP The Wack Album is the Just 2 Guyz’ fourth installment “We Need Love,” which recently premiered over the weekend with an appropriately weird music video.
