Vancouver-raised singer/songwriter/pianist Tobias Jesso Jr. has released a video for “Without You.” The song can be found on Jesso Jr.‘s critically well-received debut album, Goon, released last month on True Panther. The video is set in an atmospherically lit bar. Jesso Jr. performs the song at the piano while a May to December type couple (younger man, older woman) start to get intimate. The scene then shifts to the bathroom, where things get even more intimate.

Seth Mendelson directed the video, with financial assistance from the Canadian company MuchFACT, a division of Bell Media Inc.

Goon might be mainly a solo affair, as has most of Jesso Jr.‘s public performances to date, but he’s also just announced his first headlining tour with a full band.
