Wild Beasts’ New Album Ready for September in the States
Two Dancers to Be Released on Domino Records
Jun 02, 2009
Wild Beasts
Wild Beasts’ upcoming album, Two Dancers, is set for a U.S release of September 8th on Domino Records. Two Dancers is a follow up to last year’s Limbo Panto, which earned the band critical acclaim from the likes of NPR.org, Pitchfork, and Paste, and a spot at this year’s SXSW.
The album was co-produced by Richard Farmby in Norfolk, U.K. earlier this year and was recorded in a live format—the band essentially played together in a room. As lead vocalist Hayden Thorpe is quoted as saying in a recent press release, “recorded live, no over thinking.” Two Dancers is wired with all the energy that precedes the band.
Tracklist is as follows:
01. The Fun Powder Plot
02. Hooting & Howling
03. All The King’s Men
04. When I’m Sleepy…
05. We Still Got The Taste Dancin’ On Our Tongues
06. Two Dancers (i)
07. Two Dancers (ii)
08. This Is Our Lot
09. Underbelly
10. Empty Nest
