Later this month, Eric Cannata—co-founder of long-running indie rock outfit Young the Giant—is set to share his debut solo album, Holding Onto the Holy, out January 24th. Cannata made his first forays into his solo career in early 2020 with his EP, Lonely Beast. In quarantine he began exploring influences from ‘60s and ‘70s singer/songwriters, gradually fleshing out the instrumentation and dressing his vocals with playful contributions from loved ones and longtime collaborators.
