77:78 is the new project of Aaron Fletcher and Tim Parkin, who were both formerly in The Bees (or A Band of Bees, as they were alas legally forced to be renamed in America). Fletcher was a founding member of that British psych-rock band, which released four albums, most memorably 2002’s Mercury Prize-nominated debut album Sunshine Hit Me and 2004’s sophomore album Free the Bees.
