Soft Self Portraits is the synthy dream pop outlet of Seattle-based singer/songwriter Cody Wade. The project began in 2016 in a decidedly lo-fi fashion. Wade’s first 6-track demo was recorded in their bedroom with only a loop pedal, cassette deck, synth, and karaoke mic. They released their debut album, Hold Me Up To The Light, in 2017, and the project became a full band before going through a series of lineup changes in the years since and disbanding in 2019. More
