Charli XCX released a new album, simply titled Charli, last Friday via Atlantic. Now she has shared a video for the album’s “2099” that features Charli and guest vocalist Troye Sivan riding jet-skis. Also, last night she performed the album’s “Gone” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with Christine and the Queens (aka Héloïse Letissier, who also guests on the studio version of the song). Charli XCX and Troye Sivan recently teamed up for the new song “1999,” a song that celebrated the ‘90s, the decade both artists were born in. Now the song has a pretty amazing video that references a ton of 1990s things, including Titanic, American Beauty, The Matrix, The Blair Witch Project, The Spice Girls, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, N*Sync, Aqua, and more, including featuring Charli dressed as Steve Jobs.
