Low have announced a new album, Double Negative, and shared videos for three new songs, “Quorum,” “Dancing and Blood,” and “Fly.” Double Negative is due out September 14 via Sub Pop. The three videos were released as one complete 14-minute piece, a triptych, as well as separately.

Chromatics have shared a video for a new song, “Blue Girl,” the latest single from their long delayed album, Dear Tommy, which is promised for release this fall on Italians Do It Better (exact release date TBA). The band self-directed the stylish and atmospheric video. The song has also been released to Spotify and Apple Music with four alternate versions of the track, including an instrumental version and one without drums.

Arcade Fire
Arcade Fire have shared a strange video for “Chemistry.” It features a dog waiter (well, a man with a computer-generated dog head) who falls in love with a cat (a woman in a white dress with a computer-generated cat head) in a restaurant full of sharks. Eventually they are fighting a robot shark in space and the whole thing climaxes in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

Earlier this morning Spiritualized (aka Jason Pierce and backing band) announced a new album, And Nothing Hurt, and shared two songs from it, “I’m Your Man” and “A Perfect Miracle.” Now they have shared a video for “I’m Your Man.” Juliette Larthe directed the video, which features Pierce (aka J. Spaceman) in his signature vintage spacesuit, as he drives around the desert in an old car and walks around at sunset.

Interpol
Interpol (Daniel Kessler, Paul Banks, and Sam Fogarino) are releasing a new album, Marauder, on August 24 via Matador. Previously they shared its first single, “The Rover” (which was one of our Songs of the Week). As promised when the album was announced on Thursday, last night the band stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform “The Rover.”
