Chromatics Share Video for New Song “Blue Girl”

Chromatics have shared a video for a new song, “Blue Girl,” the latest single from their long delayed album, Dear Tommy, which is promised for release this fall on Italians Do It Better (exact release date TBA). The band self-directed the stylish and atmospheric video. The song has also been released to Spotify and Apple Music with four alternate versions of the track, including an instrumental version and one without drums.

Arcade Fire Share Wacky Video for “Chemistry” in Which a Dog and Cat Battle a Robot Shark

Arcade Fire have shared a strange video for “Chemistry.” It features a dog waiter (well, a man with a computer-generated dog head) who falls in love with a cat (a woman in a white dress with a computer-generated cat head) in a restaurant full of sharks. Eventually they are fighting a robot shark in space and the whole thing climaxes in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

Earlier this morning Spiritualized (aka Jason Pierce and backing band) announced a new album, And Nothing Hurt, and shared two songs from it, “I’m Your Man” and “A Perfect Miracle.” Now they have shared a video for “I’m Your Man.” Juliette Larthe directed the video, which features Pierce (aka J. Spaceman) in his signature vintage spacesuit, as he drives around the desert in an old car and walks around at sunset.

Legendary jazz label Impulse! have announced that they are releasing a previously unreleased John Coltrane album featuring original, never-before-heard compositions recorded in 1963. The album is entitled Both Directions at Once: The Lost Album and is due out June 29.
