Joanna Newsom was the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. She performed “Leaving the City,” a track from her recently released Divers, her long-awaited new album (her first in five years, since 2010’s Have One on Me) that’s out now via Drag City. The performance found Newsom on harp backed by a three-person band (a keyboardist, a pianist, and a drummer). More
