Iron & Wine
Iron & Wine (aka Sam Beam) is following up Archive Series Volume No. 1, which collected unreleased recordings and demos from the period his 2002 debut album, The Creek Drank the Cradle, was recorded, with a 7-inch. Archive Series Volume No. 2 will only contain two songs, both covers also recorded around the time of The Creek Drank the Cradle.

Arcade Fire
Arcade Fire are releasing a feature film, The Reflektor Tapes. It will screen in movie theaters starting September 23 and Kahlil Joseph directed it. They have previously shared the first clip from the film, which was eight-minutes long and essentially also a music video for “Porno,” a song from last year’s album Reflektor.

Young Galaxy
Young Galaxy are releasing their new album, Falsework, on October 30 via Paper Bag. It’s the follow-up to the Montréal-based band’s excellent 2013 album Ultramarine. They have previously shared “Body,” the album’s near six-minute long dance-y first single. Now they have shared another song from the record, titled “Factory Flaws.”

Ride
British shoegazing icons Ride recently reformed and have already played some U.S. dates (including Coachella). Previously they announced some September and October American dates. Now they’ve announced that DIIV and The Besnard Lakes will support them on some of their dates.

Stereolab
Former Stereolab vocalist Laetitia Sadier has shared a video for “Then, I Will Love You Again.” Alejandro Abramovich directed the clip, which features images of Sadier projected on various parts of a room. The song can be found on her latest solo album, Something Shines, released last year on Drag City.
