Beck to Release New Album in February

In the last few years the usually prolific Beck has put out sheet music, redid David Bowie’s “Sound and Vision” with an orchestra, produced Jamie Lidell, provided songs for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and covered several albums with his “Record Club” featuring the likes of Feist, MGMT, Wilco, St. Vincent, and Liars. But what he hasn’t done since 2008 is release a new studio album. That’ll change next February with Morning Phrase, which will be his first album in six years, since Modern Guilt.
