The Flaming Lips have announced that the title of their 12th album will be Embryonic. The follow-up to 2006’s At War With the Mystics is a double album that was recorded with their usual producer Dave Fridmann and will be released this fall by Warner Bros. An exact release date and track list has yet to be announced. The Oklahoma City-based band are giving fans an early taste of the album this summer. If you buy a ticket to see them on their summer tour then you’ll also receive a free digital EP that includes three tracks from Embryonic.
