Belle and Sebastian has announced an October 5th show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The Scottish band will be performing after a screening of the classic 1996 junkie film Trainspotting, which was set in Scotland. The show was announced today on the band’s website. Tickets are $25 and go on sale this Wednesday at 12 noon PST. Trainspotting will screen at 7:15 p.m., followed by a 9:30 p.m. performance by Belle and Sebastian. The cemetery has a regular film screening series.

As we’ve previously reported, Belle and Sebastian’s new album, Belle and Sebastian Write About Love, is due out on Matador on October 12th and will feature a guest appearance from Norah Jones.
