Belle and Sebastian Reveal Real Album Cover and Release Date
Plus Band Starts TV Show
Last week we thought we posted Belle and Sebastian's new album cover for Belle and Sebastian Write About Love, but in a post on their website, frontman Stuart Murdoch revealed that we got a little ahead of ourselves. "Here is a look at the real cover of Belle and Sebastian Write About Love," Murdoch wrote. "Some websites got hold of the wrong end of the stick last week (perhaps not surprisingly), but no harm done!" Guilty as charged, but check out the real cover above. Murdoch also revealed that the album is set to be released on October 12th in the U.S. (and "October 11th in most countries").
In addition, the band is trying their hand at television with a Belle and Sebastian TV series. "We got together last week with a few gallant lads and lassies, and we've recorded the first part of the B&S TV show that we've been hinting at," said Murdoch in the same post. The clip embedded below includes a snippet from the song from the new album entitled "I Want the World to Stop." Unfortunately, the video stops sooner after Murdoch starts singing. Talk about whetting our appetites!
