British dance duo Disclosure (brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence) have been sharing new tracks every day this week: “Moonlight” on Monday, “Where Angels Fear to Tread” on Tuesday, and “Love Can Be So Hard” on Wednesday. Now they are back with another new track, “Funky Sensation,” their fourth in as many days. It’s not really a new song, but more of a remix of Gwen McCrae’s 1981 song of the same name. Check it out below, followed by the original version of the song.
The band issued this Twitter statement about the song: “Inspired by our immense love of Disco music, we took one of our favourite remixers (@Alkalino) version of this classic song by Gwen McCrae and flipped it again! Hope this one gets you moving.”
Disclosure released their second album, Caracal, back in 2015. This week’s new songs follow “Ultimatum,” a new song they shared back in May.
