Yesterday British dance duo Disclosure (brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence) shared a new song “Moonlight” and now they are already back with another new song, “Where Angels Fear to Tread.” The song samples The Four Freshmen’s a cappella take on Johnny Mercer/Rube Bloom’s “Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread).” It’s out now digitally and can be listened to below.
The band issued this statement about the song: “We’ve been completely obsessed with acapella jazz groups lately and so we decided to sample some of the original masters - The Four Freshmen. Hope you all enjoy.”
Disclosure released their second album, Caracal, back in 2015. The two new songs follow “Ultimatum,” a new song they shared back in May.
