Eagles of Death Metal recently asked for other bands to cover their song “I Love You All the Time,” with proceeds going to victims of the Paris terror attacks via the Sweet Stuff Foundation’s “Play It Forward” campaign. Now the band has shared covers of the song by Florence and the Machine (feat. The Maccabees), My Morning Jacket, Savages, Kings of Leon, Jimmy Eat World, Ed Harcourt, and others. Check out the covers here or below are the ones from Florence and the Machine, My Morning Jacket, and Savages, followed by the full Spotify playlist (Ed Harcourt’s piano-backed version is particularly beautiful).

Eagles of Death Metal’s Josh Homme issued a statement about the covers: “I made a plea to artists and business people alike to come together to use our solidarity as proof that we are stronger together, and that we can make a difference. We are proud to be a little part of such a big group of talent and good will. We can’t thank these artists enough for their donations of talent, love, time, and compassion. Now, the Play It Forward Campaign is in the hands of the fans to help us make a difference, and to help those affected by this tragedy. Please listen, purchase, play, and enjoy - and know that every time you do, you’re doing the sweet stuff that makes that difference.”

Eagles of Death Metal were playing the Le Bataclan venue on November 13 in Paris when ISIS terrorists stormed it, shot into the crowd, and took hostages, in what instantly became a tragic international news story. The band recently announced rescheduled dates for their postponed European tour, including a show at Paris’ Olympia Theater. All attendees of the Le Bataclan show are entitled to a free ticket. The dates are below again. Eagles of Death Metal briefly returned to the Paris stage when they recently joined U2 at one of their City of Lights shows.
