It's produced by Josh Homme of Eagles of Death Metal and Queens of the Stone Age, who also plays on the album and co-wrote it with Pop. On Friday we reported (via Billboard) that Eagles of Death Metal would be joining U2 in Paris at one of their two shows, either last night or tonight. Then yesterday U2 said Eagles of Death Metal were not performing with them and last night indeed they didn't (Patti Smith was the guest instead). But tonight's show was another story, Eagles of Death Metal did indeed appear at U2's show at the AccorHotels Arena.  More

According to The Washington Post the band was able to escape, but some of their crew are unaccounted for. This followed an earlier suicide bomb in a Paris soccer stadium. The police have stormed the venue and the siege is over, but CNN are reporting that as many as 100 attendees are dead. More
