Father John Misty and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit Announce Summer Co-Headlining Tour Dates

On “Mr. Tillman,” the lead single to Father John Misty‘s 2018 album God’s Favorite Customer, Jason Isbell is jokingly referenced (“Jason Isbell’s here as well/And he seemed a little worried about you”). Well now Father John Misty (aka Josh Tillman) has announced some summer co-headlining tour dates with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (whose most recent album was 2017’s The Nashville Sound). The dates are this June and include shows on both coasts and in between. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. local (with presale tickets on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. local, with the fan presale code being “FJMISBELL”). Father John Misty released his studio previous album, Pure Comedy, in April 2017 via Sub Pop (it was Under the Radar‘s #1 Album of 2017 So Far in our midyear wrap up and #9 in our final Top 100 Albums of 2017 list). God’s Favorite Customer was one of our Top 100 Albums of 2018.
