Oh that crazy Jack White. Actor, musician, businessman, and now inventor. Today, White announced the invention of the “Triple Decker Record,” which is a 7-inch imbedded inside a 12-inch. Perhaps the best spokespersonfor the new product is Jack White himself. Check out the handy informational video below.
The first to take advantage of this new technology? White’s own band The Dead Weather who will be releasing their new single “Blue Blood Blues.” The single will a live version of “Jawbreaker” as a b-side. 7-inch and tri-color 45 versions of the single are available today via the Third Man Records physical/mail order store.
But if you want the three-in-one version, you’ll have to wait until September 17th. Be aware though that supplies will be limited to 300 copies. Happy hunting!
