Nov 20, 2018 Laura Jane Grace and The Devouring Mothers By Christopher Roberts

Earlier this month Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! released Bought to Rot, her debut album with her new band Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, via Bloodshot. Now the album’s first single, “Apocalypse Now (& Later),” has a video. Emily Esperanza directed the clip, which a press release touts as one that wouldn’t have been out of place on 120 Minutes, MTV’s alternative rock show in the 1980s and 1990s. Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

The band also features Atom Willard and Marc Jacob Hudson. Against Me!‘s last album, Shape Shift With Me, came out in 2016 and was the follow-up to 2014’s Transgender Dysphoria Blues. In 2016 Grace also released a memoir, TRANNY: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout.
