Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! has announced her debut album with her new band Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, Bought to Rot, and shared its first single, "Apocalypse Now (& Later)." Bought to Rot is due out November 9 via Bloodshot and the band also features Atom Willard and Marc Jacob Hudson. Check out "Apocalypse Now (& Later)" below, followed by the album's tracklist and cover art, as well as the band's upcoming tour dates.

In a press release, Grace had this to say about signing to Bloodshot: "I've been a longtime fan of Bloodshot and the artists they work with. Having spent the past year working on a record without knowing where its home was going to be, when I discovered that the Bloodshot offices were only a couple blocks away from my apartment I went in and asked if they'd consider giving the songs a home. They were cool enough to hear me out and oblige. I couldn't be more happy about the work we're going to do together and sharing it with the world."

Against Me!'s last album, Shape Shift With Me, came out in 2016 and was the follow-up to 2014's Transgender Dysphoria Blues. In 2016 Grace also released a memoir, TRANNY: Confessions of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout.

As a group, midsize SUV headlights perform slightly better than the other SUVs and pickups we evaluated last year, and that’s encouraging, since I tried to find headlights for my car last year and that was an adventure. Since few consumers wearing undercover clothes test drive a vehicle at night before buying, IIHS headlight ratings help shed light on this basic, yet essential crash avoidance technology. Nighttime visibility is critical to highway safety because about half of traffic deaths occur either in the dark or at dawn or dusk.
