Illinois: Special 10th Anniversary Blue Marvel Edition Out April 1 via Asthmatic Kitty

Sufjan Stevens is releasing a special edition of his acclaimed 2005 album Illinois in honor of last year’s 10th anniversary of its release. The Illinois: Special 10th Anniversary Blue Marvel Edition is due out April 1 via Asthmatic Kitty. They are also putting out a star shaped 12-inch that includes a demo version of “Chicago.” 2,000 copies of the 12-inch have a misprint that labels it as 45 RPM when it should be 33 RPM and Asthmatic Kitty are also selling those off. Check out the demo of “Chicago” below. It was recorded in 2004 and Stevens plays guitars and organ on the song.
