New Order Sign To Mute
Have Plans To Head Back Into Studio
Sep 04, 2014
New Order
New Order have signed to Mute and announced plans to head back into the studio. The U.K. legends explain: “Mute has a superb roster of artists and a history that complements our own. In many ways joining the label feels like we are coming home, returning to our independent roots.”
No official details on a new album have surfaced, though the band played new songs live back in March and July. Last year, New Order released Lost Sirens, a compilation of previously unreleased recordings. Their last proper full-length of newly recorded material was 2005’s Waiting For the Sirens’ Call.
