Real Estate are releasing a new album, In Mind, on March 17 via Domino. Previously the band shared the video for its first single and opening track, “Darling.” Now the band has announced some tour dates for this April, May, and June. They include dates in North America and Europe. Frankie Cosmos opens select dates. Check them out below, followed by the “Darling” video again. The band has also shared a short behind-the-scenes video of the making of the “Darling” video and that’s below too.

In Mind is the band’s first album since guitarist Matt Mondanile left the lineup to focus on his Ducktails project. Julian Lynch (also from the band’s home state of New Jersey and a well-regarded solo artist in his own right) replaced him on tour and this is Real Estate’s first album with Lynch as a fulltime member. The album is the follow-up to 2014’s widely acclaimed Atlas and was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Cole M.G.N. (Beck, Julia Holter). Weird Days directed the “Darling” video, which features the band performing the song in a bare studio/soundstage space while a live horse messes with them.

Real Estate’s Martin Courtney also released a solo album in 2015, Many Moons. Read our interview with Courtney about it. Also Courtney did a joint interview with actor Jason Schwartzman for our Best of 2014 issue and you can read that here.
