Oct 22, 2009

The New Jersey quartet Real Estate (that's Martin Courtney IV, Matthew Mondanile III, Etienne Pierre Duguay and Alex Bleeker) sure do love summer. Well, even though the BBQ pit hasn't been fired up in some time and the lawn chairs are collecting dust in the shed out back, that's not stopping the hazy AM rock group from prolonging an Indian summer of the mind (ooooh!). More

Feb 28, 2020

"It's gonna be hard to go back." Martin Courtney laughs as he describes the line crossed by Real Estate in the writing and recording of their latest album, The Main Thing. For nearly a decade, the New Jersey-based band have developed their niche of relaxing rock, but an "existential crisis," as Courtney has termed it, pushed the band toward a more thoughtful ethic concerning their craft this time around. Frontman Martin Courtney concurs. More

FYF Fest 2014 Day 1 at LA Sports Arena and Exposition Park, Los Angeles, CA

August 23rd, 2014

Aug 25, 2014

Los Angelenos are accustomed to traffic, but not the foot kind. All the bread lines in communist Russia can't compare to the queue clogging up the sidewalk perimeter of Exposition Park at the start of the 11th annual FYF Festival.
