Thurston Moore Releases Second Single
Available via Moore's Facebook Page
Apr 29, 2011 Thurston Moore
Do you like Thurston Moore? You better, or else you won’t be able to listen to “Circulation,” the second single off his upcoming solo album Demolished Thoughts.
The Sonic Youth frontman released “Circulation” today via his Facebook page, but it can only be streamed if you “like” his page. And it’s definitely worth liking. Much like 2007’s Trees Outside the Academy, Demolished Thoughts is shaping up to be an exhilarating acoustic-driven album, evident here on “Circulation,” which also features smooth violens to highlight the charging guitar riffs. Demolished Thoughts was produced by Beck and is currently slated for a May 24 release on Matador. Moore will be kicking off a West Coast tour in support of Demolished Thoughts this July with label mates Kurt Vile and the Violators.
Check out new track “Circulation” here.
