After one show at Origami Vinyl Echo Park, CA, the plug was pulled on Jónsi’s in-store series “Go Closer.” While one has to respect the Icelandic troubadour for recognizing super-intimate performances aren’t his cup of tea, it’s difficult not to wonder what the world was missing.

Today, Origami Vinyl released high-quality video of two of the set’s songs, “Go Do” and “Stars in Still Water.” Despite being the most uncomfortable experience in his career, Jónsi and crew still sound amazing. Check out the videos below.
