Watch Larry David and Carrie Brownstein in the New “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 9 Trailer
Returns to HBO October 1 After a Six-Year Hiatus

Carrie Brownstein
It was previously announced that Larry David was bringing back Curb Your Enthusiasm for a ninth season on HBO, on October 1 at 10 PM. The first teaser trailer simply featured David dressed in ancient Greek attire on a revolving platform. Now here’s a full on trailer and it seems that the fictional Larry David is worse than ever and pissing off everyone. One scene features musician/actress/director Carrie Brownstein (Sleater-Kinney, Portlandia), who seems to be playing his assistant. Bryan Cranston has also joined the cast, seemingly as David’s therapist. Watch it below.
David previously had this to say about the new season: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’” Previous cast members Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and JB Smoove are all returning, among others, and all appear in the trailer. In the show, David, the co-creator of Seinfeld, plays a fictional version of himself as he interacts with both regular people and other celebrities playing exaggerated versions of themselves.
