Real Estate’s Martin Courtney released his debut solo album, Many Moons, last Friday via Domino. Today we have been treated to a cover of Pavement’s “Major Leagues” that Courtney and his band have recorded for Sirius XMU. The full session is airing on the satellite station on Wednesday (November 4) at 9 p.m. EST, but below you can watch the video of his Pavement cover.
Courtney has also recorded a live session for Los Angeles public radio station KCRW and their show Morning Becomes Eclectic. That will be broadcast on November 19, but the station has already shared video of Courtney performing Many Moons track “Airport Bar” and that’s below too, followed by some just announced West Coast tour dates. Also read our review of Many Moons and be sure to read our recent joint interview between Courtney and actor Jason Schwartzman, in which he discussed his solo album.
