Drive-By Truckers premiered "This Fucking Job," the first song off their forthcoming LP, The Big To-Do, about two weeks ago and this week they made another track available as a free download on their official site. Whereas "This Fucking Job" was penned by lead songwriter Patterson Hood, "Birthday Boy" is written by singer/guitarist/all-around rascal Mike Cooley. It's a Southern rock tale told from the perspective of a stripper at a sleazy nightclub. The Big To-Do will be released on March 16th via ATO. The band's also touring North America right now.
