Los Angeles singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers released her debut album, Stranger in the Alps, back in September 2017 via Dead Oceans. Now, a year later, she has shared a new video for the album’s “Scott Street.” The FADER produced the video in conjunction with their cover story on her. Alex Lill directed the video, which features several people of various genders, ages, and ethnicities in wigs emulating Bridgers’ hairstyle, as they sing the song and then do other things together. Bridgers joins them towards the end. Watch it below, followed by Bridgers’ upcoming tour dates.
Stranger in the Alps is also getting a deluxe edition digital reissue on October 2 via Dead Oceans. It includes two bonus tracks, a demo version of “Motion Sickness” and a cover of Tom Petty’s “It’ll All Work Out.”
Bridgers has also teamed up with fellow singer/songwriters Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus to form supergroup Boygenius, whose self-titled debut EP is due out November 9 via Matador. When the EP was announced they shared three of its six tracks: “Bite the Hand,” “Me & My Dog,” and “Stay Down.” All three made our Songs of the Week list, but our #1 was “Me & My Dog,” which is led by Bridgers.
