Late night TV finally returned this week, following the end of the writers’ strike, and one of the first musical guests was boygenius, who performed “Cool About It” last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The supergroup featuring Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Phoebe Bridgers performed the song acoustically, all huddled around the same microphone, and it was an intimate and special performance. More

Lucy Dacus released a new album, Home Video, in June via Matador (stream it here). Now she has shared a fun fan-sourced video for the album’s “Brando.” Dacus previously put out the call for fans to submit footage of themselves for the video and they didn’t disappoint. Behold rollerskaters, iceskaters, dancers, hand puppet shows in the shower, acrobatics, and a man in his underwear on top of a snowy mountain. More

Julien Baker has announced a new livestream concert in support of her upcoming album Little Oblivions to be held at Nashville’s Analog on March 25, with indie group Mini Trees as the supporting act.
