The newest entry in our ongoing mixtape series comes from Finland’s Burning Hearts. Earlier this year, the band the band released melodic pop gem Extinctions. Today, they reveal the secret to their success—namely a good strong steam bath.

“The theme is Songs in the Sauna, as the song titles might reveal,” says bandmember Henry Ojala. “The sauna plays an important role in the band. Many crucial decisions have been made here, like for example selecting which songs that will end up on a record. When we play in Finland we usually go to the sauna before a concert, if possible. However, when we play abroad (especially Sweden) we stay away from saunas, because they aren’t nearly warm enough.”
