The Drums are set to release their highly anticipated debut LP in the U.S. on Downtown Records. The self-titled record will be released in digital format tomorrow, June 8, with vinyl to follow on August 10, and CD shortly thereafter in September, the latter format to contain exclusive bonus tracks. Where’s the MiniDisc and 8-Track, guys? The record promises to be darker than the band’s debut EP Summertime!, although two tracks have carried over onto the long player, “Down By the Water,” and the U.K. hit single “Let’s Go Surfing.” A fall North American tour is rumored, but for now, here’s the tracklisting.
1. Best Friend
2. Me and the Moon
3. Let’s Go Surfing
4. Skippin’ Town
5. Book of Stories
6. Forever and Ever, Amen
7. Down By The Water
8. It Will All End in Tears

10. I Need Fun in My Life
