Iggy Pop
Iggy Pop released his new album, Post Pop Depression, back in March via Loma Vista. It’s produced by Josh Homme of Eagles of Death Metal and Queens of the Stone Age, who also plays on the album and co-wrote it with Pop. Now Pop has shared a video for “Sunday.” Andreas Neumann directed the clip, which was produced by Homme and Neumann, and edited by Tony Hays. As a press release describes it, “the video gives fans an inside look at Post Pop Depression from its creation at Rancho De Luna up until the band’s first public performance at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles.” Watch below.
Post Pop Depression also features Queens of the Stone Age/Dead Weather keyboardist/guitarist Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. Live the band is also joined by Queens of the Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar) and Chavez’s Matt Sweeney (bass).
