Watch: The National’s Play An Ode to Thanksgiving Gravy for “Bob’s Burgers”
Indie Rockers Go Sailing
Nov 27, 2013
The National
Last year the showrunners of animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers reached out to one of their favorite bands, The National, to contribute a cover of an off-beat Thanksgiving song they had written called “Kill Your Turkey.” Furthering the two camps’ involvement, Bob’s Burgers and the indie rock group have teamed up once again to deliver a brand new song called, “Sailors in Your Mouth,” an ode of sorts dedicated to the savory joy of Thanksgiving gravy. The band’s rendition will be featured in the show’s upcoming holiday episode, complete with a dream-like animated appearance by the band in gravy form, sailing of course, in a gravy boat.

This is indeed an amazing piece. Whatever be the context, I really loved the whole video and tune of this song. This quite interesting and I didn’t feel bored at any point of time.
