Watch: The Polyphonic Spree - “It’s Christmas” Video
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Nov 30, 2011 The Polyphonic Spree
The Polyphonic Spree have settled into the holiday spirit in its typical en masse fashion, releasing its own holiday single, “It’s Christmas.” The song was actually composed by the symphonic pop choir’s leader Tim DeLaughter all the way back in 2003 during the sessions for the band’s second album, Together We’re Heavy, only to get lost in the shuffle. Given some proper production, the track is now available for purchase at Good Records Recordings in various digital and physical formats. To get a full taste of the bombastic, feel-good tune, check out the clip below which compiles two shows from the band’s 7th Annual Holiday Extravaganza from 2007.
