This upcoming Wednesday at 7 p.m., the remaining members of Fountains of Wayne will come together for their first live performance in seven years, with special guest Sharon Van Etten, in an effort to raise money to combat the effects of COVID-19. The group’s original songwriter, bassist, and backing vocalist Adam Schlesinger passed away from complications with the disease on April 1. More

Morrissey is releasing California Son, a covers album, on May 24 via BMG. Now he has shared the album’s cover of “Wedding Bell Blues,” which was a 1969 hit for The 5th Dimension and was originally written by Laura Nyro. The track features Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, with backing vocals from Lydia Night of The Regrettes. More
