Broken Social Scene have compiled a collection of covers of their breakthrough album, 2002’s You Forgot It In People, with an impressive cast of artists. It’s titled ANTHEMS: A Celebration of Broken Social Scene’s You Forgot It In People and you can stream it here. The compilation is out today via Arts & Crafts and features The Weather Station, Mdou Moctar, Toro y Moi, serpentwithfeet, and more. More

American Football have shared two new singles, “Rare Symmetry” and a cover of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You” featuring Miya Folick. The release marks the final recordings of the band with founding member Steve Lamos, who announced his departure earlier this year. The songs will be made available as a 10-inch vinyl release on June 10, 2022 via Polyvinyl. More
