Neil Finn of Crowded House (and now Fleetwood Mac) has joined forces with his son Liam Finn and have announced their first collaborative album together, Lightsleeper. They have also shared its first single, “Back to Life.” Lightsleeper is due out August 24 via Inertia Music and [PIAS]. More

To call Lightsleeper a “family affair” is a severe understatement. Sure, father-son team Neil and Liam Finn are credited as album artists, primary instrumentalists, and producers—but most of the Finn clan is featured on this album, not to mention several adjacent “family” members (the likes of Connan Mockasin and Mick Fleetwood, to name only a couple).
