Death Cab for Cutie played their first ever show 20 years ago today, on November 22, 1997. In honor of that anniversary the band have shared the audio for the acoustic set on Bandcamp for $4.00, with some of the proceeds going to the Seattle-based charity Aurora Commons.

Sigur Rós
Iceland’s Sigur Rós previously announced Norður og Niður, a new festival at Reykjavik’s Harpa venue from December 27 - 31. The band will perform four shows in Harpa’s main hall, Eldborg (which has a capacity of only 1,500 per show), on December 27, 28, 29, and 30. Now they have announced some rare limited vinyl releases that will be available at the festival and have shared a previously unreleased (and untitled) song by frontman Jónsi.

Sufjan Stevens
Sufjan Stevens released his acclaimed album Carrie & Lowell in 2015 and earlier this year he released a corresponding live album and concert film, Carrie & Lowell Live. This Friday (November 24) Stevens is releasing a Carrie & Lowell mixtape entitled The Greatest Gift, via Asthmatic Kitty. It includes unreleased outtakes, remixes, and iPhone demos from the album and will be released on cassette, LP, and digital formats. Now you can stream the whole mixtape.
