There has been speculation of late that Foo Fighters might be breaking up and that Dave Grohl is leaving the band, fueled by his recent solo performance at the Oscars and Taylor Hawkins saying in a recent interview, “I think the world needs a break from us for a little while.” Now the band has shared a funny video that mocks the whole thing.

Conan O’Brien
Parquet Courts are releasing their new album, Human Performance, on April 8 via Rough Trade. Previously they had shared the videos for “Dust,” the album’s opening track, and “Berlin Got Blurry.” Last night they performed the latter on Conan. Conan O’Brien approved, telling the band at the end, “That was great, I like that hook.”

SXSW has announced that President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be speaking at the convention/festival in Austin, Texas later this month. It’s the first time in that a sitting President and First Lady have taken part in SXSW.

Tame Impala
Tame Impala recently remixed Miguel‘s “Waves” and now the track has a video. It fittingly features Miguel and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker on the beach. The video is only for part of the remix (it lasts just 1:35). The original version of the song was found on Miguel’s Wildheartalbum and the remix appeared on Rogue Waves, a collection of remixes of “Waves.” Watch below.
