Stereolab
Former Stereolab vocalist and sometime political songwriter Laetitia Sadier has shared a video for “Oscuridad” and has announced some U.S. tour dates. The video was directed by Loic Jouan but features footage from classic black & white silent films directed by Fritz Lang and Serguei M. Eisenstein.

Irish post-punk band Girls Names will be releasing their third album Arms Around a Vision on October 2 via Tough Love. That’s quite a long ways away, but now the Belfast band has released another song from the record, the fantastic near-six-minute long “A Hunger Artist.”

Sigur Rós
Georg Holm and Orri Páll Dýrason, two thirds of Sigur Rós, have partnered with Icelandic composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson and Sigur Rós touring guitarist Kjartan Holm (also Georg Holm’s brother), to record the score to the BBC documentary film The Show of Shows.
