High Places Announce Their Upcoming Full-Length and 2010 Plans
New Album High Places vs. Mankind Set for April Release
Jan 15, 2010 High Places
The second full-length from Brooklyn-formed duo High Places is on track for an April 6th release via Thrill Jockey Records with a North American and European tour to follow in spring. On the new record, Mary Pearson and Rob Barber seek to explore what it means to be human, tackling issues from romance and addiction to aging and death. “I Was Born,” the first single, was released digitally this past Halloween, and the second is soon to follow in early 2010, accompanied by a video. Both singles will eventually be featured on a 12” replete with additional and unreleased remixes. Check out the icky green cover art below.
