Passion Pit have announced plans for a new set of performances this fall, continuing their support of last year’s Gossamer. Featuring support by The Joy Formidable the new set of shows will include two gigs at New York’s Pier 26 on Sept. 6 and 7, which will function as make-up dates for fans who were unable to attend the band’s headlining show at Madison Square Garden show on account of a massive blizzard hitting New York that same night. Anyone who purchases a ticket to the MSG show but couldn’t make the trek will be offered a discounted ticket to the Pier 26 performances. Proceeds to the shows will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
